M3 Executive Search is proud to represent this highly recognized medical center in beautiful Southern California in its search for a Medical Director of its well-established OB/GYN Hospitalist program.

The Medical Director OB/GYN Hospitalist will be responsible for developing and evaluating standards of medical care, planning, and coordinating all physician-related activities providing medical direction to clinical staff and advising the department in matters of medical policy. This leader will have the ability to work with facility staff to develop, implement and evaluate all services to provide the highest level of care.

Highlights of the position include:

  • Flexible work schedule and work-life balance.
  • Provide coverage of Obstetric emergencies for the private physician patients and manage unassigned OB patients that present to L&D and the Main ER.
  • Level III NICU is established at this medical center.
  • 120 deliveries per month / 200 encounters per month on average.
  • Excellent compensation package including an attractive hourly rate for both clinical care and administrative stipend. Travel allowance provided.
  • Oversee a combination of physicians & APP’s in a collegial, supportive environment known for quality and compassion for patients.
  • OB Hospitalist program has been established for 16 years, providing excellent care with both deliveries and some GYN in its associated clinic.
  • Candidates will need to work in a collegial manner and be a team player who understands exceptional care in a hospitalist model, providing evidence-based care to all patients.
  • Provide support and learning opportunities for the staff, which include participation in drills and simulations.
