Steve Marsh

Steve is recognized as an expert in healthcare executive & physician/nursing executive recruitment. One of the original founders of The Medicus Firm, M3 Executive Search originated in 2017 as a division of The Medicus Firm, and then became a separate subsidiary of the parent company, M3 USA, Inc.

Steve has been involved in the development of every aspect of M3 Executive Search, and during his 27 years of healthcare recruitment has led both recruiting and business development teams. A noted speaker, Mr. Marsh has been cited in numerous national media publications and serves as a keynote and guest speaker at nationwide conferences and healthcare forums several times per year.

Steve is well known for speaking on various topics related to healthcare recruiting process "Best Practices", maintaining a positive workplace culture, diversity/inclusion, and contract negotiation.

Steve has completed numerous adult and pediatric physician executive searches at every level for academic institutions and health systems across the United States. His ability to screen healthcare executives for the appropriate soft skillsets and cultural fit has been honed by representing healthcare clients for his entire career, and he has developed a large network of leaders throughout every region of the country and every sector of healthcare.

Steve lives in Dallas, Texas, with his wife, Lynn, and four children. Outside of work he enjoys coaching youth softball and being involved in his children's high school and college activities. Steve enjoys golf, is an avid fly-fisherman, and loves traveling the country in pursuit of either of those activities.

Darci Adams

Darci Adams, MBA Sr. Executive Consultant

Darci Adams, MBA, is a healthcare executive with 15 years of experience in Practice Plan and School of Medicine administration, finance, and human resources and operations. She previously served as the Division Administrative Director at the University of Colorado, Division of Vascular Surgery and Endovascular Therapy.

Darci has extensive experience partnering with physician leaders to build and transform teams, drive change, lead process improvement, operational efficiency. During her time at the University of Colorado she was involved in a variety of physician leadership searches, and she has an extensive network of academic physician executives.

Prior to her roles in Division Administration, Darci worked both as a Project Manager for University Physicians, Inc. & as a CME/Clinical Education Coordinator. She has experience with construction project management building freestanding clinics, developing clinical programs, enhancing the patient, provider and staff experiences through clinical workflow improvements, revenue cycle efficiencies and EMR implementation. Her experience has allowed her to understand what it takes to be successful within academic institutions.

In addition to her work experience, Ms. Adams has most recently served on the Association of Academic Surgical Administrators (AASA) educational committee and is an active member of the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA).

Darci lives in Denver, Colorado, with her husband, six children, an English Mastiff, Barkley, and a Great Dane, Luna. She obtained her Bachelor's Degree from Fort Hays State University and a Master's in Business Administration from Regis University.

Darci's expertise is conducting executive searches within academic medicine, including Dean's office positions, Department Chair & Division Chief positions, and Basic Science / Research leadership positions (MD, MD/PhD, & PhD).

I have a true passion for academic medicine and working with academic leaders. Megan Berlinger

Megan Berlinger, MHA Academic Medicine, Sr. Executive Consultant

Megan Berlinger, MHA, is a healthcare executive with 16 years of experience in school of medicine and hospital administration. She worked for over 13 years at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, serving in key administration roles as the Heart & Vascular Service Line Administrator, Department Administrator, and Associate Director of Clinical Operations for Wake Forest University Physicians.

Megan has been involved nationally in academic administrative circles, serving on the board of the Association of Academic Surgical Administrators (AASA) as Education Chair (2013), Secretary (2014,2015), and President (2018). She currently serves as an Editorial Advisor for the Cardiovascular Business Magazine.

Prior to working at Wake Forest, Megan completed her Administrative Fellowship with Johns Hopkins Health System. Megan holds both her Bachelor of Science in Public Health degree and Master of Healthcare Administration degree from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Megan is certified in Six Sigma Green Belt as well as Executive Coaching. Megan is also an adjunct assistant professor at the University of North Carolina teaching finance courses within the MHA program in Chapel Hill.

Megan resides in Winston Salem, NC with her husband and two daughters. She has served as Board Chair for the local YMCA. Megan enjoys spending time with her family, supporting her kids' activities, and cheering the Carolina Tar Heels in any sporting event.

Megan's expertise is conducting executive searches within academic medicine, including Dean's office positions, Department Chair & Division Chief positions, and Basic Science / Research leadership positions (MD, MD/PhD, & PhD). In addition, she leads our academic administrative searches.

Courtney Brown

Courtney D. Brown Sr. Executive Consultant

Courtney Brown has more than 25 years of executive search experience. Most recently Courtney was Director of Recruitment at Universal Health Services, Inc (UHS) and a member of the Human Resources Leadership team. UHS is a $10B, fortune 500 company with 89,000+ employees which owns and operates more than 350 Acute Care and Behavioral Health facilities, in the US and the UK.

Courtney was charged with leading the Corporate Recruitment function for UHS, identifying & executing the recruitment strategies for all C-level employees across both business lines. She implemented effective sourcing strategies and metrics, developing a strong team to improve the quality of hires.

Courtney had operational responsibility for developing the company's branding strategy, recruitment infrastructure, and the implementation of a new Applicant tracking system.

Courtney's success has come from linking clients' business goals with appropriate and efficient recruiting, hiring, and retention strategies tailored to her client's business initiatives and company culture.

Prior to working at UHS, Courtney held recruitment leadership roles with Penn Medicine, and Cigna. Her career began with an executive search firm in global search across multiple verticals. Courtney resides in Philadelphia with her two daughters and is active in physical fitness and coaching.

Due to the extensive experience mentioned above with UHS, Penn Medicine, and Cigna, Courtney's expertise is broad-based and has spanned nearly every healthcare vertical. Courtney executes at a high level for M3 Executive Search's clients on all C-suite searches as well as those physician executive roles in academic medicine or health plans.

Nadajalah Dean Sr. Executive Search Consultant Diversity (DEI) Consultant

Nadajalah Dean, Sr. Executive Consultant, has nearly 30 years of executive search experience, primarily specializing in healthcare and healthcare Information technology. Her functional expertise includes all C-suite healthcare executive roles, human resources, strategy, and supply chain. Nadajalah also has experience as a search consultant in Diversity, Equity & Inclusion searches and DEI best practices.

Prior to joining M3 Executive Search, Nadajalah served as a Director for Executive Search for Tenet Health, one of the largest healthcare services/hospital companies in the United States. She worked for Tenet for 18 years on a variety of executive search positions during her tenure, developing a nationwide network of healthcare executives that respect and trust Nadajalah's thorough, detailed approach.

Prior to Tenet, Nadajalah worked for nearly a decade as an executive recruiter for EDS, a multinational information technology equipment and services company. She partnered with top-level Executive Search firms to assist EDS as they built their Management Consulting Services subsidiary that subsequently acquired A.T. Kearney consulting firm.

Nadajalah received a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems from the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas. She resides in Frisco, Texas, with her family and their seven-year-old cockapoo named San Marie. She is an active member of the Greater Frisco Chapter of Jack and Jill of America Inc.

Angela Henry

Angela Henry, MBA, FACHE Vice-President, Business Development

Angela Henry, MBA, FACHE, has a unique and thorough background in healthcare including patient care, owning/operating a private surgical practice, recruiting clinical providers, and consulting with clients nationwide for healthcare executives.

Prior to joining M3 Executive Search, Angela started and led an executive search division for a national healthcare recruiting firm. In her role, she works with large healthcare organizations, medical schools, and academic medical enterprises to analyze strategic plans, recruitment and retention, and succession planning.

Angela's passion for healthcare started at a very young age while serving on medical mission trips throughout the United States, Mexico and Ukraine. She entered nursing school at Baptist Nursing School in Little Rock, Arkansas, then completed her Bachelor's in Business and Mathematics at the University of Arkansas while working for an acute tertiary care hospital.

After starting, owning, and managing a surgery private practice in Oklahoma, she found her calling in clinical provider recruitment. She joined The Medicus Firm in Dallas, and was then asked to relocate to Atlanta to help develop the regional team in 2016. Angela directed two regions while obtaining her Master's in Business Administration with an emphasis in Statistics from the University of Georgia and a Green Belt in Lean Six Sigma.

Angela earned her Fellowship in the American College of Healthcare Executives in 2019, and is a board member-at-large for the Georgia Association of Healthcare Executives. She is also the Chair of the Programs Committee for the Georgia chapter of ACHE.

Angela's thirst for continued education & extensive experience in both clinical & executive search, consulting, private practice administration, and hospital employment has combined to provide clients the expertise needed to be a collaborative partner and asset to both academic medicine and acute care clients throughout the country.

When Angela isn't on the road consulting with clients or presenting at speaking engagements, she can be found in Atlanta, Georgia with her dog, Copper, enjoying the city with friends and planning her next travel adventure somewhere in the world.

Steve Behr

Steve Behr Vice President of Business Development, Academic Medicine

Steve has over two decades of healthcare experience. Over the past 9 years he has been focused in academic medicine and teaching hospitals assisting with all levels of faculty and physician executive recruitment.

Steve is well known in academic medicine and has worked closely with numerous AAMC Schools of Medicine, affiliated health systems & Children's Hospitals, Comprehensive Cancer Centers, Research Institutes, and clinical Departments.

Steve's successful career has been built upon the principles of hard work, honest communication, and his desire to over deliver. He has earned multiple awards and recognitions for his work. The most important to him was the "Integrity Award Winner: Trust".

Steve attributes his ability to connect with people to his diverse upbringing and life experiences. He was born into a military family in Munich, Germany and attended two years of high school in Korea before graduating in the state of Washington. Steve then completed his undergraduate education at Washington State University with a degree in Biology, where he was an anatomy lab assistant prepping donor bodies for gross anatomy and working with M1 and M2's. He had a ten-year career as a fireman and medic interacting with the late Michael Coppas, M.D. at Harborview in Seattle.

Steve lives in Coppell, Texas with his wife and two children. The family enjoys being active and involved in athletics. They live by the motto: If we can sweat, we are happy.

Dan Bruey

Dan Bruey, MBA Sr. Research Associate

Dan Bruey has over 20 years of healthcare administrative and operational experience. He has held management positions at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, Temple University School of Medicine, and most recently as the Division Administrative Director, Division of Pediatric Surgery at the University of Colorado.

Dan plays a key role in leading the Research team at M3 Executive Search, and his understanding and expertise in academic medicine & healthcare operations provides excellent insight for our executive search team.

Dan obtained his bachelor's degree from Millersville University, a Master of Business Administration from Temple University, and a certificate in Lean Six Sigma from Villanova University. He recently returned to Flagstaff, Arizona, with his partner and their two West Highland terriers. His personal interests include playing tennis, reading, real estate investing, and exploring Arizona's unique landscapes.

I have enjoyed my career in healthcare administration, especially in academic medicine. My focus now centers on supporting our dynamic team of Healthcare Executive Recruiters with their administrative and research needs.
